Lots going on

It's been a long time since I last posted, and we've had lots of new things happening here - some good, some not-so-good. I think I'm finally ready to write about some of them, but...

For personal reasons, and because our recent tragedy has been so very public (including newspaper announcements, etc.), I'm going  to change the format of this blog to be password-protected, so if you're a follower or a friend, please email me at howitisnowadays@gmail.com for the password and I'll be happy to add you!  Even if we don't know each other, I can still add you to the list if you'd like to follow what's going on in our family.  But I don't feel comfortable sharing everything with the entire interweb...I'm sure you understand how that is.

I'll be changing over to the new format on September 12, so send me a message before then.

Thanks again for all the love, folks!  We've been continuing to receive messages of encouragement and cards from people letting us know they're still thinking of us and praying for our family and we are so grateful!
