Contractions started Friday morning, I called the hospital at about 9:30 am and had my parents come over to stay with Jack. We went in, I got my two doses of penicillin (thanks to Group B strep), they broke my water at 5 pm and I had the baby that evening at 8:47 pm. The labor was fast and furious, but thank God for the invention of the epidural! Patrick Joseph, Jr. ("PJ") weighed in at 8 lbs., 8 oz., and is just perfect! My MOM would have won the weight game, guessing 8 lbs 8oz on the money...but then she changed it after the belly shot! Dang it!
Congrats to Aunt Devon, who guessed 8 lbs. 10oz!!

Congratulations on your new baby boy. He's absolutely adorable!!! I'm so glad you didn't have to be enduced and Patrick Jr. decided to make his appearance at the last minute and on his own. Eileen you look fabulous for just giving birth. Everyone in the family looks so happy and excited. You certainly have a beautiful, busy and fun household. I'm so happy I could SPIT! To quote meme "I'm over the moon". I'm so happy that it was a smooth delivery, and that you didn't have to be induced. I just want to cuddle Jack and PJ together. Add a little Sophie and RJ and I swear I am the luckiest Aunty on the planet! Can't believe I have to wait till May....:-P Can not wait to see you all. Love you much.
