Some funnies for the day

First, let me get an UN-funny out of the way. It's this: pregnancy really does a number on a girl's gastro-intestinal what-have-yous. Holy cow! Literally from one extreme to the other in the same day...I don't know whether to take fiber or Immodium. Somebody help me! Ok, 'nuff said.

Now, on to the cute stuff.

Patrick's Mom got Jack a red Radio Flyer wagon for Christmas that Patrick just put together last night. Jack is in love. He's spent the entire day climbing into and out of the wagon, playing in it with his blocks, and having me pull him around our tiny house. Not an easy feat when that thing has a turning radius of about 8 feet or so.

Anyway, this evening, the ritual of watching the "Baby Doolittle" DVD from the Baby Einstein series before bed took place inside the wagon. He started by just sitting in there with his juice and his little stuffed cat/tiger (I can't tell which it's supposed to be), so then I gave him a pillow and put a blanket on the bottom to make it a little more comfy. Check out these shots of my little man:

He's too dang cute. Now I just have to keep praying that he never rides the wagon with a friend down the steepest road he can find like I did with Michelle Wolinsky when I was about 9 years old. What were we thinking?? And Michelle, if you're Googling your name right now and come up with this, I'm still amazed that we survived that trip down Brookfield Court without any stitches or even scrapes....like FIVE times!

Then, as Patrick is giving him a bath, I'm downstairs and hear Jack laughing hysterically at something Patrick is doing. I go up, armed with the video camera, and catch this:

Yes, folks - that's right. He's slapping his behind which, in his swishy pants sounds even louder than it normally might. This is the fun Jack and Daddy have together! I love it!

Some things just should not be made public. I hope Patrick never runs for office.
