Brigid has been doing well since her surgery. Her breathing has improved so very much. She is so easy to ventilate, in fact, that they have started doing CPAP trials with her ventilator to give her practice breathing on her own.
To witness a tiny infant, who is not even supposed to be born for seven more weeks, triggering her own breaths for almost an hour is nothing short of miraculous. We are indeed fearfully and wonderfully made!
